Summary

Typing Test is a free typing practice tool. It runs in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not upload what you type or your results to a server.

What is stored, and where

Your settings (theme, sound, mode, difficulty and similar choices), your personal bests, your run history and your progress are saved in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time with the "Clear history" option in the progress panel, or by clearing site data in your browser.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address or other personal details through the typing test. We do not sell data.

Analytics and advertising

At present the site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising in the future, this page will be updated first, before the change goes live, to explain what is collected, which third parties receive it, and how to opt out.

Children

The site is suitable for general audiences. Because nothing is collected through the test, no account or personal data is requested from children.

Changes to this policy

We will update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes.
